Sarah brings a wealth of experience from industry working in a marketing management capacity with many of the leading brands to include Hoover, Disney, Proctor and Gamble amongst others. She then went on to set up her own successful consultancy practice assisting businesses to obtain strategic growth. In this role, Sarah travelled widely including the Far East, Australia, America and Europe to assist companies with international market expansion.
Sarah is professionally qualified with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and went on to obtain her MBA. Since then Sarah has qualified at distinction level in her higher education teaching qualifications. Sarah has 12 years lecturing experience and has significant experience teaching international students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Sarah teaches on a variety of PG and UG subject areas to include marketing and strategy as well as modules, which link with industry projects.
Sarah’s passion is to develop an interactive and engaging learning environment where students are able to progress to their highest potential.
Sarah has been instrumental along with a small research team pioneering the use of interactive digital textbooks to develop a more engaging, progressive and contemporary learning environment.
Sarah is currently the Academic Student Engagement Lead for the School of Management and as such works very closely with professional services and the student body to develop a thriving community to work, play, study and live.
