Clearing information for Home (UK & EU) Students

We deliver the teaching for three of the University's Foundation programmes. The Foundation year is taught in small class sizes (max 35) so it gives you time to adjust to the University environment. The small classes allow students to form strong working relationships with Lecturers, which in turn helps with confidence building (can use example of being able to confidently ask questions in small classes and being able to transfer this skill when move to year 1, being able to put hand up and ask questions in a lecture theatre of 150+ students – confidence).

Available Foundations include:

You can register for these courses via the University's Clearing pages.

Clearing for Overseas (non-EU) students

If you do not meet the entry requirements to join the University directly, you may be eligible to study a Foundation or Year 1 programme with us first before progressing onto your desired Bachelor's degree.

You can study Foundation and Year 1 programmes across Swansea University subject areas - further information can be found on our Undergraduate Pathway pages.

If you have already applied to the University via UCAS you will be referred to us if you do not meet the grades for direct entry. If you would like to apply to us directly you can do so via our online Application form.
