Swansea has a vibrant music scene which continues to grow. The city boasts a huge variety of music venues and plays host to music festivals and events throughout the year with plans underway for a new 3,500 capacity arena in the heart of the city.

Swansea is a vibrant centre for art and culture. On rainy days, duck into Glynn Vivian and Mission Gallery in town or Taliesin Arts Centre and the Egypt Centre on Campus. Literature lovers should pay a visit to local boy Dylan Thomas' home too.

Rebound is your Student's Union nightclub with drinks and classic tunes. In JC's you can watch big-screen matches, do the Sunday pub quiz or take part in the open mic night on Tuesdays.

If you are on the Bay, Tafarn Tawe is the place to be with a Sunday night pub quiz and the place to be for all sporting events.

Epic Three Cliffs and Rhossili grab the spotlight, but there are also countless coves to explore. Cwtch* up on the sand with a picnic or grab a beer and a burger at a beachside pub.
