- Kilvey and Rhossili are the only residences that are provided with a pre-paid catering e-wallet function as part of the accommodation package.

- The e-wallet includes a weekly allowance equivalent to £43.00 per week (2024/25) which is included in the residence fees.
- The catering allowance is provided as part of your accommodation package and has NO CASH VALUE. There will be no cash refunds under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
- The e-wallet can be used to purchase food, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks from the following catering outlets:

- Swansea Social Hideaway, Costa @ The College, Coffeeopolis, Tafarn Tawe

Usage
- The card cannot be used in any Students Union or third-party outlets including Costcutter, JCs, and Tesco.
- There are no set dining times – you can spend your e-wallet allowance as and when you want.
- Your account will display your first month of credit. Subsequent months credit will be uploaded in monthly intervals. Please allow up to 5 working days for the credit to display on your account.
- You can use the allowance on your e-wallet in any amount at any time (until your full allowance is used) until the last day of the academic year.
- On the last day of the academic year / your residential Tenancy Agreement, any remaining allowance on your e-wallet will be transferred for use during your subsequent year of study at the University, if applicable. i.e., if you received the allowance during your first year of study, any remaining balance will be transferred during your second year of study. No additional allowance will be automatically added after the end date of your Tenancy Agreement.
- If you move out of your part-catered residence, finish your studies and / or leave the University, your e-wallet will be cancelled, and any remaining allowance will be lost.
