We cannot wait to welcome you in September

Starting University is an exciting but sometimes nerve-wracking time and this year, more than ever, we understand that you'll want to be well-prepared for what lies ahead.  Don't panic!  We've pulled together our top tips and information to help you get ready.

September will be here before we know it!  We can't wait to see you!

Living in Swansea

Our Singleton campus is nestled beautifully between the stunning Swansea Bay beachfront and leafy Singleton Park, perfect for lunchtime picnics and weekend beach days. Our campus beach (as we like to think of it) is a popular haunt for students during study breaks and lunch hours while Singleton Park is home to vast green fields, botanical gardens, a small boating lake (with awesome Swan pedalos) and a crazy golf course – perfect for finding some space to call your own.

Studying with us

Our students and alumni tell us that our small community has helped them make friends for life, have good relationships with their lecturers and helped give them the best experience whilst studying with us. And when it comes to having access to state of the art facilities we have that in spades. In the last assessment, we were ranked 1st in the UK for Research Environment – which means access to great facilities and researchers during your studies.

Safety and Wellbeing

Our team of dedicated health and safety professionals work with students and staff across the University to embed a health and safety culture and continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure our students and staff can carry out research, work and studies safely and securely - even more so in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.  There are also many support services available to you at Swansea University so if you are finding things difficult, Wellbeing can support you to improve your mental health and wellbeing and to help you seek help when you need it.

Confirmation and Clearing

On results day, we will have a team of admissions, teaching and support staff ready to take your call and discuss your options.  We’ll also have current students on hand to tell you all about life in Swansea – they can even video call you if you prefer.

Be sure to also keep an eye on our social media...we're @SwanseaMedicine on all platforms
