The Stress Control programme is a 6-week course run by the University’s Wellbeing Service; it teaches participants CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques to help reduce stress with an overall aim of improving coping strategies to support and boost an individual’s wellbeing.   

The 90-minute sessions are delivered weekly via Zoom and are attended by both students and staff at the University. Stress Control is facilitated by trained Wellbeing practitioners using a slideshow presentation - there is no group work, nor are there any discussions in the sessions and, you will not be asked to contribute or talk in front of others. You do not need to register to attend this course and your attendance will not be recorded or monitored.
