The Stress Control programme is a 6-week course run by the University’s Wellbeing Service; it teaches participants CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques to help reduce stress with an overall aim of improving coping strategies to support and boost an individual’s wellbeing.
The Wellbeing Service is not running Stress Control during the summer recess, however the course is offered by the NHS in the local community through The Swansea Bay Living Life Well Programme. Please note that there may be restrictions due to COVID-19.
For those who have already attended the course, the booklets and relaxation and mindfulness exercises are available on the free zone of the Stress Control website. Please visit https://stresscontrol.org/ to access these.
