Spaces marked as 'Open Access' in the library can be used without a booking at any time.
You can select and reserve a bookable Study/PC space by using our online booking system.
Bookable PC/Study spaces: These are available to all students as follows:
You can reserve a bookable study space from 8am to 10pm. No bookings are required for these spaces from 10pm to 8am. Other study spaces are available without bookings 24/7.
You can make a maximum of 24 x 60 minute session bookings per week (24 hours in total, 6 hours per day). Each individual 60 minute session must be booked.
You may book up to two weeks in advance.
All sessions can be booked in one location if required and available. If you are booking sessions at different locations, please allow for travel time between sites and only travel between sites if it is absolutely necessary.
- These spaces are only available to students for individual use.
- You can book a space up to two weeks in advance. Please ensure that you select all of the times needed if booking online. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when booking is completed. You should retain this email as proof of booking.
- Please note, you will need to show your student ID card to enter the Library.
You can select and reserve a Group Study Pod at Singleton Park Library through our online booking system.
You can also select and reserve a Student Collaborative Space. Please note that these desks are all in the same room, so you may be overheard or disturbed by other groups in the room – please consider the Group Study Pods if privacy or confidentiality is important for your work.
You will be directed to the specific terms and conditions for the Group or Collaborative spaces when making the booking.
You can select and reserve a Group Study Pod at Bay Library through our online booking system. Please note that you will be directed to the specific terms and conditions for these spaces when making the booking.
There are dedicated Postgraduate PC Rooms at both Bay Library and Singleton Park Library.
The Bay Library Postgraduate PC Room is located on the South Wing of the library, towards the far end of the wing.
The Singleton Park Library Postgraduate PC Room is located in Room 401D, on Level 4 (on the mezzanine above the Study Hall and the MyUni Library desk).
Spaces in the Postgraduate PC Rooms are not bookable in advance but are accessible by Postgraduate students only. To enter the Postgraduate PC rooms, you need to swipe your University PG Student ID card on the door access point.
