Eligibility to work in the UK
Your offer of appointment is made subject to you being eligible to work in the UK. If you think you may need a work permit or visa to be eligible to work, please contact your HR Business Partner (contact details will be on your appointment letter) who will advise you on how to obtain the required authorisation. For further information please see Eligibility to Work Procedure
If at any stage during your employment you do not have the appropriate permission to work in the UK, you will become subject to the following Ordinance: Termination on Grounds of Illegality Ordinance
All appointments are made subject to a medical appointment. The medical is normally on campus with Occupational Health and Emergency Services but may be arranged with your own GP.

Your appointment may be subject to a DBS check, if this is the case you will be notified with your letter of appointment. Further information is available at Disclosure and Barring Service Check (Formerly CRB).
