Rhian is a Co- Director of the Professional Legal Courses and a lead in the establishment of the Centre for Professional Legal Practice. As part of the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, the Centre delivers all legal professional postgraduate courses with a focus as a centre of excellence on preparing students and graduates for the legal profession, including through the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE).
Experienced in teaching on the undergraduate programme, Rhian’s focus is on Postgraduate taught programmes on the professional legal courses. Rhian is Course Director for Professional Conduct and Regulation, Professional Practice and Legal Services, Course Skills and a Teacher on the Business Law and Practice Course. Rhian is also a Course Director for Commercial Dispute Resolution, an elective subject taught in Stage 2 of the LPC / LLM in Advanced Drafting. All roles provide Rhian with the opportunity of sharing experiences from practice as a Solicitor specialising in Commercial Dispute Resolution. As a non-practising solicitor Rhian taught extensively throughout England and Wales, both on in-house and public courses on the Professional Skills Course before joining the University.
