A multidisciplinary research community that will advance knowledge and innovation in materials and manufacturing research, supporting cleaner growth and a more resource-efficient economy.
We will pioneer the discovery of new materials and cleaner processing technologies, enabling improved products and processes and new understanding of their societal impacts.

We will foster collaborations at the regional, national and international level in partnership with academia, industry and government institutions.
Bringing together researchers from across the University, Early Career Researchers will be at the core of our inclusive community and we will establish mentoring/training programmes and put in support schemes so that we can grow together.
