First of series of seminars

On December 6 2022, Swansea University's Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Science led the first in a series of professional seminars at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.

The workshop, which was supported by the Healthcare Technology Centre and The Higher Education Funding Council Wales (HEFCW), the seminar took a deep dive, giving relatable detail of how a research project evolves through translational technology development, aimed at a scientist’s perspective.

The seminar brought together an exciting mix of translational scientists and entrepreneurs to provide in-depth knowledge and discussion of translational research and development and how innovation moved through to commercialisation.

The day welcomed speakers from Swansea University translational scientists, SymbiosisIP, Cansense Ltd, Data Leaders Ltd, Zimmer and Peacock Ltd, and PwC.
