As one of the UK’s leading providers of management, finance and economic programmes, the School of Management can help you unlock the full potential of your workforce and enhance the capabilities of your organisation.
What we offer
The Professional Workforce Development Centre is working with employers and education partners to develop work-based learning degree programmes and Higher Education (HE) level Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to specifically meet the needs of businesses.
For employers who would like their employees to work towards a Bachelor of Science Honours degree, we have a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Applied Business Management which has a BSc (Hon) articulation (top up) year.
Students successfully completing the relevant modules on the Foundation Degree will also receive Chartered Management Institute (CMI) accreditation at Certificate level.
On successfully completing the relevant modules at BSc level as well, students will receive Chartered Management Institute (CMI) accreditation at Diploma level. Due to students being in full time employment for the three years of their study, this also leads to CMI exemptions and Level 5 Chartered Manager status in Wales. Students also have access to CMI resources while studying on this programme.
This programme is offered to individuals in full time employment and, with assignments set around your work, it offers flexibility to employers from all sectors so you can focus on what is important to you.
This programme is franchised and delivered in North Wales by our partners Coleg Cambria and has been developed collaboratively with local employers, Coleg Cambria and Airbus.
In South Wales this programme will be delivered with our partner, Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC) from September 2019.
Email us to find out more about fees, admission criteria, funding support (employers) or becoming a delivery partner (Colleges).
