When you graduate from Swansea University's School of Management (SoM) you become part of our ever-growing alumni community.

As a member of the SoM alumni community, you can:

  • Become a mentor to current students
  • Submit a case study
  • Attend alumni events
  • Advertise current vacancies
  • Have access to these services for 5 years after graduating
  • As alumni, you will be asked to take part in the Graduate Outcomes survey 15 months after you finish your studies. The survey aims to help current and future students gain an insight into career destinations and development.

If you would like to take part in any of these activities please contact Jessica Loomba.

Become a mentor to current students

As a mentor, you will be working alongside your student to strengthen their competencies, support their career progression and enhance their graduate skills.

Typically, the student will be prepared with an agenda based on his or her own career development needs. It will be your role to provide support to enable the student to progress their career plan.

Contact the Careers Team to find out more and get involved.

Advertise current vacancies

Are you now working for a company that is looking for graduates or placement students? If so, we promote work placement opportunities to our student network and are happy to help promote any roles you may have.

We recently held a jobs fair at the School.

Various alumni attended, representing the companies they now work for, including DHL, Swim Wales and TATA Steel, and promoted their volunteering and placement opportunities to our current students.
