We designed this programme to enhance traditional degree programmes for employers by ensuring graduates are work-ready. We’ve created a programme that keeps an employee in the workplace for most of the time, while they acquire higher-level management skills as well as enabling students to go through a rewarding and intense university experience.

On the Applied Business Management degree, your employees receive a first-class education that is designed around your business’ needs. They will be equipped to deal with a wide-range of topics including HR, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Project Management, Innovation and Leadership.

This course will enable your employees to:

  • Earn a degree whilst in employment;
  • Gain management skills;
  • Get real world business experience;
  • Advance their career.

“The Applied Business Management Degree is a fantastic course that offers a diverse range of modules to broaden your perspective of the working environments in which we surround ourselves every day. Both the staff at Cambria and the Swansea University team who work closely with this degree programme have done everything in their power to ensure the students have studied dynamic and enjoyable modules to contribute to a fantastic first year!

"I have received impeccable support from all at Cambria. From day one the staff have pulled out all the stops to make the learning experience second to none. All staff are friendly, welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge to share with the students.”

“I am currently on my second year of the Applied Business Management Degree. I also work as the manager for Kassidy’s Tea Room in Holywell.

Since taking on management responsibilities during the first year of the degree, I am responsible for recruitment, training and other important responsibilities. This has all supported me through my studies and allows real-life application.

The degree has enabled me to have the confidence to question situations and develop my personal skills. Being a student rep has given me the opportunity to voice the classes’ views and form close bonds with students and tutors.

More recently, I have been part of a team who successfully won the Business in the Bay competition with Swansea University. This was a great way to gain valuable experience and showcase the skills we have learnt as part of the course.”
