Course Details

This core dissertation module gives you the opportunity to demonstrate the personal and professional development you have achieved since beginning the MSc Enhanced Professional Practice programme. You are required to produce a 12,000 word advanced reflective analysis, drawing together learning from all previous modules. You will critically examine how your studies have informed your practice, shaped your decision making and contributed to your ongoing professional growth. Through reflexive practice you will also critically evaluate the impact of your learning within your own scope of practice, considering how your development influences the quality, effectiveness and direction of your professional role and service delivery.

Duration

This is a work-based learning module. Students will undertake learning within their employed place of work. Academic supervision is provided at the request of the student – up to 50 minutes per month for the duration of the module. Action learning sets are offered as one 90 minute session per month.
There is a compulsory half day induction for this module.
