ACADEMIC YEAR: The academic year starts in September and will end in June.
VISAS: You may need a study visa (type D visa) and residence permit to study in Belgium. Please refer to the Belgian Embassy website for further information. You must allow enough time to complete the visa/permit application and for your permit to be processed and sent to you. There can be delays so please do not leave this until the last minute as you cannot travel to Belgium without it.
HEALTH INSURANCE: You will need health insurance for the duration of your studies, you will receive further information from your host on acceptance. You cannot use Swansea University's travel cover as a substitute for this.
