Certificate of AI Readiness (CAIR)

The Certificate of AI Readiness (CAIR) has been developed by Swansea University to directly address current international industry demands.

CAIR is a fully online, professional, non-credit-bearing short course that is delivered at Level 7 (master’s level). The course is designed for working professionals, and as such, is formed of short, recorded lectures that enable you to learn flexibly.

Understanding self-harm and suicide: Research evidence and insights

This course is the only Level 7 programme in Wales that is designed specifically to upskill awareness, understanding and communication related to suicide and self-harm. It focuses on developing your effective communication skills and critically evaluating existing interventions, while deepening your understanding of how research into self-harm and suicide is conducted.

As a short course, it offers flexible, targeted professional development that is accessible to working professionals, while maintaining the academic rigour expected at Level 7.
