Our Vision

Our vision is to make a difference to society and the economy, locally, nationally and globally, through excellence in research and research-led teaching.

Our Environment

The thriving multidisciplinary Business and Management research community comprises over 120 academics, 90 professional services staff, and 68 PhD students, the majority of whom work and study at the £450m Bay Campus which opened in 2015. We are also home to a number of research centres, major embedded projects, and to policy think tank The Bevan Commission.

Our Outputs

During the assessment period, we published over 1,000 research outputs including 895 peer-reviewed articles. We collaborate with the global academic community, both within our disciplinary boundaries and beyond. We also work with non-academic partners, such as policy makers, the public sector, international banks, and a wide range of businesses.
