Training Events
Along with our partners and associates (Thomas Carroll, PureCyber, Superfast Business Wales and FSB), we held cyber awareness events across Wales. These free of charge events invited SMEs from all business sectors to attend and gain an understanding of the very real threats their businesses could face. They provided the perfect opportunity for business owners to ask questions relevant to their particular business, and for them to also take away simple yet effective tips on how to better protect against cyber risk. Representatives from more than 200 SMEs in Wales attended these events.
In an effort to ensure we engaged as many businesses as possible in accordance with business densities, we held events in the North and South, visiting Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Wrexham. Our events concluded with a large gathering in Cardiff, where we were able to present the findings of our research as published in the Edinburgh Law Review. This event included guest speakers from many top London cyber insurers and brokers, and gave SMEs the opportunity to discuss their needs directly with providers.
