About The Role

Are you an organised and creative professional with a passion for data, communications and making an impact? Swansea University is seeking a Marketing, Communications & Data Management Officer to join the Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials (CISM), a world-leading research and innovation centre at the forefront of the UK's rapidly growing semiconductor sector.

This exciting role combines data management with strategic marketing and communications, offering the opportunity to help showcase the achievements of a pioneering research centre with an £80M+ portfolio of projects. Working closely with academic, technical and industry partners, you will ensure the accurate collection, validation and reporting of key performance data while transforming complex information into engaging reports, presentations and promotional content for a range of audiences, including funding bodies.

You will lead the coordination of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, support the delivery of events, exhibitions and stakeholder visits, and contribute to the continued development of the CISM brand. You'll also monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement and help communicate the impact of cutting-edge research and innovation.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
