Course Details

Supported by TWf, the course is jointly taught by 10 industrial leaders who have substantial experience and expertise as contractors and consultants. It provides a broad coverage of construction methods and temporary works related to infrastructure: 

The course is part of our full-time MSc programme for Construction Management. It is also available for external professional learners to take as a standalone CPD module. The CPD learners will have full access of the module contents in the same way as the fulltime students.

Course Level

Standalone CPD course, with CPD certificate from Swansea University.

Who Should Attend?

Professional engineers who are interested and require training in temporary works and construction methods.

Date

Start from first week in February.

Duration

It is delivered over a period of 10 weeks, with a 3-hour lecture/discussion class each week. All lectures will be live delivered with a video link, and they will all be recorded to allow offline access.

Assessment

CPD students do not get assessed/examined, but they need to participate into all course elements and demonstrate a full engagement by completing the online quiz tests.

Location

The course is delivered at Swansea University Bay Campus. For CPD students, the course is to be taken remotely through online video link.
