Scholarship to mark Hywel Teifi Edwards' Significant Contribution
Academi Hywel Teifi has launched a scholarship in memory of Hywel Teifi Edwards.
The biennial Hywel Teifi Memorial Scholarship supports Welsh-medium postgraduate students who wish to study a field related to Hywel Teifi's contribution to Welsh learning and culture, specifically:
- History
- Literature
- The Welsh language
- Politics
- The media
The next Scholarship will be available in 2025. Candidates must initially apply for PhDs, MPhil or MRes between August 2025 and July 2026. Taught Master's degrees are not eligible. This scholarship is offered every other year.
To apply for the scholarship, please send an application letter, CV and outline of your research area to the Director of Academi Hywel Teifi, Dr Gwenno Ffrancon, by 30 June 2025. Please read the Terms and Conditions before completing your application.
