A number of the University's Schools have set aside funds or been given grants to reward students' academic achievements and to help them to make ends meet. For details of the scholarships and bursaries currently available (together with any conditions which may be attached) see below.

It is hoped that the number and value of these awards can be increased and that Schools not presently giving such assistance will be able to do so in the future. Details of the academic scholarships and bursaries listed below can be obtained directly from the Admissions Tutor in the relevant Department.

Natasha Mawera from Zimbabwe is a current scholarship holder and has already reaped the benefits:

“As an international student choosing to study my undergraduate degree in the UK, the scholarship brought a huge financial benefit to me and so much more than I hadn't expected. The Developing Futures team inspired me to become a student ambassador for the School and for the University which is a great addition to my CV. As a scholarship holder I have gained a new network of friends, the best university part-time job, good relationships with School staff, a new found confidence and spring to my step. I’d recommend applying to any student."
