Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the Student Service Centre platform provided by ServiceNow and developed by Swansea University.
The Student Service Centre is developed by ServiceNow and operated by Swansea University. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this service. For example, you should be able to:
- Zoom in up to 200% without text spilling off the screen.
- Skip to the main content of the page.
- Use screen readers effectively on the majority of the site.
- Adjust text spacing without losing functionality.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible the Student Service Centre is
The Student Service Centre is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. External and internal accessibility testing identified a small number of issues that prevent full compliance.
Some known accessibility issues include:
- Touch targets on mobile are smaller than they should be.
- Search bars do not have focus rings.
- Some content has mixed welsh and english without applicable language attributes.
