Academic Entry Requirements

UK Qualifications (International Students)

Undergraduate Pathway

Stage 1 University Foundation

1 Semester

32 UCAS tariff points at a minimum of GCE AS level. For subjects in Accounting and Finance, a minimum Grade C/4 Mathematics GCSE is required

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available)

5 x GCSEs at A/7-E/3 grade OR 28 UCAS points (new) in AS. For subjects in Nursing, Engineering, Science, Accounting and Finance students must achieve a minimum grade C/4 in Mathematics GCSE - or 20 UCAS points at a minimum of GCE AS level.

Stage 2 First Year Degree

1 Semester

Management, Economics and Accounting Pathways only: 48 new 2017 UCAS Tariff points at GCE A/AS Level

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available)

All other pathways: 72 – 80 new 2017 UCAS Tariff points at GCE A/AS Level.

Engineering and Computer Science Pathways require minimum GCSE Mathematics grade C/4 or equivalent

Students must hold a minimum AS Level or equivalent in related subject for non-business courses e.g. Mathematics

Postgraduate Pathway Stage 1 Pre-Masters

1 Semester*:

School of Management and Computer Science (Conversion) and Public Health Pathways:

Successful completion of a 3 year diploma equivalent to a UK HND / DipHE

*For one-semester Pre-Masters courses, previous study must be in an academic subject and all modules must be passed on first attempt.

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available)

All other pathways:

Successful completion of a recognised UK Equivalent Bachelor Degree.

For pathways in Engineering and Specialist Computer Science, this qualification should be in a related discipline.

Albania

Undergraduate Pathway

Stage 1 University Foundation

1 Semester

Successful completion of the Deftese Pjekuria with an average grade of over 7 OR successful completion of the Diplome e Matures Shteterore with an overall grade average of 5.

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available)

Successful completion of the Deftese Pjekuria with an average grade of 5. For subjects in Nursing, Engineering students must achieve a minimum grade C in Mathematics.

Stage 2 First Year Degree

Postgraduate Pathway Stage 1 Pre-Masters

1 Semester*:

School of Management and Computer Science (Conversion) and Public Health Pathways:

Successful completion of a 3 year diploma equivalent to a UK HND / DipHE

All other pathways:

Successful completion of a recognised UK Equivalent Bachelor Degree.

Undergraduate Pathway

Stage 1 University Foundation

Successful completion of Habitacao Literias (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) with a minimum of 5 subjects passed, and an overall grade average of 10. For subjects in Nursing and Engineering students must achieve a minimum grade C in Mathematics.

Stage 2 First Year Degree

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available) Successful completion of a Pre-University Certificate or Equivalent.

Students must hold good scores in relevant subject for non-business courses e.g. Mathematics

Stage 2 First Year Degree

1 Semester

Management, Economics and Accounting Pathways only:
Completion of HSC/ InterMediate/Education certificate (10 +2) with a minimum average of 60% overall.

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available)

All other pathways: Completion of a diploma or 3 year bachelor degree with good grades in all subjects including relevant subject for non-business courses e.g. Mathematics
