A workshop held on Thursday 13th June looked into a variety of aspects relating to Artificial Intelligence including public policy challenges, opportunity for digital marketing and sales, limitations and implementation.

Professor Hilary Lappin Scott OBE, Senior Pro Vice Chancellor at Swansea University, opened the event, and welcomed Mr Lee Waters AM, Deputy Minister for Economy and Transport. They both expressed the need to ensure gender balance, particularly at leadership level within organisations.

A panel of esteemed guests from the private and public sectors attended the sessions, generating some excellent discussions.

Workshop co-Chair, Professor Yogesh Dwivedi said, ‘There is still huge potential within this area and the event provided some promising recommendations and outputs from which to build.’

The workshop was hosted by the Emerging Markets Research Centre (EMaRC) and Swansea i-Lab (Innovation Lab) based at the School of Management.
