Our LLM students attending London Maritime Scene Seminar
At Swansea, we are committed not only to delivering outstanding legal education, but also to preparing our students for successful professional careers after their LLM studies. To support this ambition, we work closely with leading law firms, insurers, tech companies, and industry associations.
On 18 November, the British Maritime Law Association hosted a seminar in London (London Maritime Scene) at the offices of HFW, offering valuable insights and networking opportunities for students specialising in maritime law. We were delighted that five of our LLM students (namely Srivatsan Anand, Selin Ucuncu, Qingzhou Zheng, Aslihan Asuman and, Kazantzi Varvara) were invited to attend, giving them the chance to deepen their understanding of maritime and insurance practice in London and connect directly with industry professionals.
Similar opportunities extend across our programmes. This week, our LLM LegalTech students are taking part in a Welsh Tech networking event, strengthening their links with the fast-growing technology sector. And we are not stopping there — another educational trip to London is scheduled for early December!
