Swansea University’s School of Law has risen four places in the latest Complete University Guide Law subject rankings, and is now ranked 31 out of 113 in the UK, underlining its continued strength across key measures of student experience and graduate outcomes.
The Complete University Guide evaluates law schools using a range of nationally recognised indicators, including student satisfaction, research quality, graduate prospects and continuation rates, drawing on data from the National Student Survey, Research Excellence Framework and Graduate Outcomes survey.
Swansea’s position reflects particularly strong performance in graduate prospects, both in terms of outcomes and graduates being “on track” for professional success, alongside high continuation rates and a positive student experience. Together, these measures demonstrate the School’s focus on ensuring students’ progress successfully into employment or further study.
Through initiatives such as the Swansea Law Clinic, mooting and advocacy programmes, and projects tackling miscarriages of justice, students gain valuable real-world experience that enhances both their academic development and career readiness.
Combined with a research-led curriculum, a supportive learning environment and strong links to the legal profession, these opportunities equip graduates with the skills, confidence and experience sought by employers.
