Choosing to follow your passion for healthcare could pay. This range of degrees is fully funded via the NHS Wales Bursary Scheme. 

What this could mean for you is, if you commit to working for NHS Wales for a period after you graduate your tuition will be fully covered by the NHS Wales Bursary, as well as maintenance funding of up to £4,491 and the full amount of student loan from Student Finance.

Whilst you train to become a specialist adult nurse you will benefit from our strong links with our local health boards, and our outstanding realistic clinical training suites which include integrated virtual reality.

99% Employability

On graduation, you will be eligible to apply for Registered Nurse (Adult) status with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and to register as a nurse for work in EU and EEA. Job prospects are excellent, with 99% of our nursing graduates employed in a professional or managerial job within six months (Destination of Leavers Study, 2018). You can expect a starting salary of £24,214 rising to £43,772 for a highly experienced staff nurse. Specialist nurses and practice managers can earn £45,000.
