Coleg Cymraeg Main Scholarship

The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol offers scholarships worth £3,000 and £1,500 if you follow credits through the medium of Welsh.  If you aim to study 66% or more of your degree through the medium of Welsh you can apply for the Main Scholarship via the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol.  The deadline has passed for 2020 entry. Coleg Cymraeg Incentive Scholarship

The Coleg Cymraeg offers Incentive Scholarships worth £500 a year (or £1,500 over three years) for students who intend to study at least 33% (at least 40 credits a year) of their degree course through the medium of Welsh. 

2020 Incentive Scholarship 

The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol has announced that it will, in response to the COVID-19 crisis, offer its Incentive Scholarship worth £500 to ALL students who intend to study at least 33% (minimum of 40 credits) of their course through the medium of Welsh.

Every student who applies by the end of the month will receive the scholarship and a similar pattern will apply each month until the funding ends.  So if you’re planning on coming to Swansea University in September and are keen to continue with part of your studies through the medium of Welsh, then it’s worth checking if your course is eligible for this scholarship by using the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol’s Chwilotydd (course finder).

Coleg Cymraeg Medical Scholarship

The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol offers Medical Scholarships worth £500 a year (or £1500 over three years) which is available for students who are considering applying for a Medicine course at an university in Wales and who want to study at least 33% of their course, i.e. 40 credits a year, through the medium of Welsh.
