About

Dr Fangzhou (Hark) Huang is an Associate Professor in Finance and a Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE (SFHEA). Dr Huang holds a PhD in finance from Cardiff University. His research interests broadly lie in asset pricing and quantitative methods. Dr Huang has rich experience of leading and contributing to interdisciplinary research projects (e.g. collaboration with Public Health Wales), his research (as Principal Investigator) in unpaid carers in Wales informed government policy and was recognized with the prestigious Health and Care Research Wales Impact Award.

MN-1501 Finance for Managers

This module provides students with an understanding of structure and functions of financial systems, and introduces them to quantitative techniques used in investment and financial decision making at a basic level and is aimed at non-specialists.
MN-1527 Data Analysis and Visualisation

This module teaches students the fundamentals of data analysis and visualisation, including data collection and preparation, descriptive statistics, visualisation techniques, and statistical inference and modelling. Students will learn how to effectively communicate and present data. The module aims to equip students with the skills to perform data analysis and create engaging data visualisations.
