Technicians’ Activity Day - Wednesday 15 July 2026

Please join us for Swansea University’s annual Technician Commitment Event: The Technician’s Activity Day.
Technical staff from across Swansea University are invited to attend this one-day event that represents a chance to further build and network our technical community here at Swansea University. We will celebrate the long service award as well as the ‘Technician’s Technician award’.
Guests will have a chance to take part in ‘The Mysterious System Failures’ game in the morning and in the afternoon either go on a nature walk with Ben Sampson or take part in ‘get active’ activity run by Sport Swansea.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 15th July, 8.45 am – 4.30 pm, on Bay Campus.
The event is free to attend, and all technicians and technical related staff are very welcome, though places are limited. Thanks to the sponsorship of GUNT, Fisher, Brand, Starlab, Sciquip, Sim &skill, asecos, tecQuipment, Dixon and VWR, Breakfast and lunch will be included.
