We also work closely with a number of other services across the university to ensure our students are provided with a range of opportunities, to get the most from their learning and experience at Swansea:

  • The Centre for Academic Success supports students in developing their academic study skills to achieve their goals.  A range of courses, workshops and one-to-one tutorials are on offer to all Swansea University students.
  • Swansea University Libraries and Archives provide high-quality information services for all students and staff, as well as the public, constantly developing these services to support the University's learning, teaching, research and corporate activities. Inclusive library services have developed to meet the diverse needs of students at the university. A range of accessible tools and services are available to students who may require enhanced support.
  • Swansea University have invested in a suite of assistive technology, which can assist students with productivity in their studies. Whilst assistive technology historically has focused on assisting students with disabilities, these products contain many features that will be of benefit to all students.
  • Swansea University offers students a range of different accommodation options across campuses. The Residential Services team are available to assist with accommodation related queries. Applicants with specific accommodation needs are asked to apply as early as possible and for disability related requests, contact with the Disability Service is encouraged.
  • The University Health Centre is an NHS General Medical Practice, based on the university campus providing friendly, comprehensive medical services focussing on the needs of students.
  • The Health and Wellbeing Academy (a collaborative project between the School of Human and Health Sciences at Swansea University and A Regional Collaboration for Health) offers a range of affordable and flexible services to support the community of South West Wales.
  • Parking at the university is limited and operates on a permit only system for staff. Alternative modes of transport are encouraged e.g. by public transport, walking and cycling, where this is a suitable option.
