About

Andrew Morris is Head of Pharmacy and Professor of Pharmacy Education within Swansea University Medical School. He leads the pharmacy team that is developing the UK’s newest MPharm programme. His research interests focus on drug delivery and tissue engineering, pharmacy and medical education and increasingly in health data science. Andrew has a strong interest in the internationalisation of higher education. He was previously Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Nottingham Malaysia and he was part of the team that established the first GPhC-accredited MPharm degree to be delivered, in part, outside of the UK. He leads on internationalisation for the Medical School.Andrew practised as a pharmacist in both the community pharmacy and primary care sectors prior to commencing his career in higher education. He is a founding member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, is a registered pharmacist with the GPhC and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Andrew is a keen runner and also enjoys scuba diving.
