Dr. Denis Dennehy, School of Management, received a Leadership Award from the Middle East North Africa (MENA) chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS).

The award is recognition for his contribution to the MENA region, as well as being the Conference Co-chair of the 5th MENA Conference on Information Systems that was hosted at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

During the award ceremony that took place during a gala dinner event, Professor Yogesh K. Dwivedi, School of Management received an Appreciation Award for his contribution to the conference as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Information Management, and the wider information systems research community.

The three-day conference (16-19 Nov) attracted 115 submissions from 40 countries, of which 48% of submissions were accepted by a team of 113 reviewers. Several pre-conference workshops, panel sessions, and networking events also took place. The conference and award ceremony were featured in two articles published by Arab News and featured on many social media outlets throughout the event.
