Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council

The EPSRC is the largest of the seven UK Research Councils. It funds research and postgraduate training in universities and other organisations throughout the UK.

Medical Research Council

Science and Technology Facilities Council

From 1 April 2007 the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council (PPARC) and the Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils (CCLRC) merged to form the Science & Technology Facilities Council.
