Research Wales Innovation Fund

The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales has provided funding, via the Research Wales Innovation Fund, to sustain existing innovation activities at Swansea University and increase capacity to support organisations across the region. As a result of the funding, our researchers have developed relationships with hundreds of partners, local and global, who have supported and helped improve our research to make a real difference.

From providing the first ever donor milk bank hub in Wales in partnership with the Human Milk Foundation, to supporting gambling related harm in UK Military Veterans in partnership Be Gambling Aware... the funding from HEFCW has provided our researchers with more opportunities to conduct research & innovation that strives to improve people’s lives.
