Tutor in Law
Xinge Li joined the HRC School of Law as a Tutor in 2025, contributing to the School’s Transnational Education programme with Dalian Maritime University. Prior to this role, she worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant within the School, supporting both undergraduate teaching and research activities at the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law.
Xinge holds an LLB from Dalian Maritime University, an LLM from Swansea University, and a PhD in Maritime Law from Swansea. Her doctoral research examines the legal and insurance implications of disruptive technologies in shipping, with a focus on autonomous vessels, artificial intelligence, and remote operations. She is currently preparing several articles for publication in leading maritime and insurance law journals.
Xinge teaches core undergraduate modules including the English Legal System, Contract Law, and Tort Law, and plays a key role in supporting the academic and cultural transition of students within the dual-degree programme.
