Kim Ross
Ross Kim worked for a major shipping company in Seoul for 7 years before deciding to pursue a higher academic career at Swansea University. By making use of his previous work experience, and taking advantage of the employability initiatives Swansea University offered, he obtained internships at Steamship P&I. At Steamship he was put in claims handling, underwriting and loss prevention teams. The modules he took, such as Carriage of Goods by Sea, Land and Air, Marine Insurance, Admiralty and Charterparties were absolutely beneficial during his time there as he applied his knowledge to real cases.
