Melissa Oswald
Melissa Oswald undertook a 5-month traineeship at the Legal Service of the European Parliament in Brussels. During this time, she mainly worked on preliminary rulings and action for annulment cases involving a broad range of topics concerning EU Law, including law of the sea and intellectual property law.
The internship enabled Melissa to put what she learned at Swansea into good use. During her time in Brussels, she had the opportunity to gain unique insights into the work of the European Parliament, and also had the opportunity to learn from the lawyers working in her unit.
