About The Role

The Admissions Office is a high performing team that is responsible for administering applications to the University from initial enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring an excellent applicant experience and journey.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused Administrator to join the Admissions Team to assist primarily with processing applications, making decisions based on pre-agreed entry criteria therefore the successful post holder will demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making abilities. The postholder will work closely with our Admissions Selectors, Admissions Tutors, and other departments playing a key role in the delivery of a high quality admissions service essential to the recruitment of students to Swansea University.

We are looking for someone who is Educated to A-level or equivalent plus hold grade C in Maths and Welsh or English at GCSE; or demonstrate equivalent work experience. As a fluent Welsh speaker, ou will be able to demonstrate experience of understanding procedures and regulations and applying such within the work environment. You will have proven ability to manage a large volume of work to a high degree of accuracy, with excellent ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a Team.

This post is a fixed term contract to 31st July 2025
