Swansea University has a small number of students from Bangladesh and we look forward to more students joining our vibrant student community.

For applicants who are resident in Bangladesh please note that Swansea University operates a policy of only receiving applications via one of our approved agents. If you would like to make an application to study at Swansea University, please contact one of the following educational agencies in Bangladesh and they will be happy to help.

Alternatively, you can apply and appoint an agent afterwards, but you must Appointment-of-an-agent.

Swansea University International Scholarships

Swansea University offers a range of international scholarships to help the most talented and ambitious students to reach their potential. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must have submitted an application to study at Swansea University as you will need your student number to complete the scholarship form.

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, it is advised that you should apply to Swansea University as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays.

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Programmes:

We will consider candidates who have studied Diplomas in Engineering; Agriculture or Nursing Science & Midwifery for entry into Year 1. We also consider a range of International Foundation Pathway programmes – please email admissions@swansea.ac.uk for any further details or to check your eligibility.

Postgraduate Programmes:

Successful completion of a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognised institution with either a Second Class Upper Division or a Second Class Lower Division equivalent.

Bachelor 4 year or BDS or MBBS or DVM/Veterinary Science:

Second Class Upper Division equivalent: CGPA 3.25 or B+ or 65%

Second Class Lower Division equivalent: CGPA 2.75 or B- or 55%

Foundation Programmes.

Candidates are expected to have achieved Higher Secondary Certificate with an IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each part of the test (or equivalent).
