We accept a wide range of curricula for admission to study Foundation, Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The information below is a guide for students completing their study in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Foundation programmes
Candidates are expected to have achieved one of the following in the relevant curriculum:
- Al-Thanawaya Al-Amah (GSEC): Minimum 80%
- American High School: Minimum GPA 2.0 (70%)
- Cambridge iGCSE: 5 passed with a minimum C grade average
- IB Certificate: Min 20 Points and must pass mathematics
Applicants that have exceeded the above requirements may be eligible for entry into Year 1 of the Bachelor’s programme studied at The College. All programmes are delivered on campus at Swansea University. If you wish to apply to The College, please follow our online application guide.
Bachelor’s programmes
Candidates are expected to have achieved one of the following in the relevant curriculum:
- Advance Placement (AP) Tests: Perform well in 3 subjects relevant to the programme of study
- Cambridge A-level: Typically between BCC-AAA depending on the programme of study
- IB Diploma: Typically between 28-36 points depending on the programme of study
- Indian CBSE: Minimum 70% in Year 12 (XII)
- SAT Reasoning Test: minimum of 570-620 in Maths and 610-650 in Reading and Writing.
Applicants that have not met the above requirements may be eligible for entry into Year 1 of the Bachelor’s programme studied at The College; our standard Year 1 programme with additional tuition and academic support. Bachelor’s programmes – advanced entry
Candidates pursing a degree at a Jordanian university or technical college may be eligible for advanced entry into Year 2 of our 3-year Bachelor’s programmes. Suitable candidates should be performing well in their current studies and should normally seek transfer onto a similar programme. To be considered, please forward a copy of your recent transcripts to International Admissions Admission is on a case-by-case basis
Master Programmes
Successful completion of a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognised institution with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division CGPA 2.50 or Good or 68% with IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each part of the test (or equivalent).
