Currently, Sai works in ExxonMobil, an oil and gas company, where he develops diagnostic tools to improve the oil production using machine learning, data analytics and cloud application development platforms.

How would you summarise your Swansea University experience?

It was great. I had a two year course and I studied my MSC first year at Swansea University. They focused on the basics and and curriculum was perfect, finding balance between personal life in UK and keeping me busy with the assignments. I enjoyed the beaches ☺

Why did you choose to study your degree at Swansea?

Computational Mechanics helps an engineer to understand the underlying physics and numerical methodology that goes behind the crazy simulations we see in movies and analytical softwares like Ansys. 

How did your degree prepare you for your career?

Amazing, perfect. It helped me to be where I am today.

What advice would you give to students who want to pursue your career?

There is a high chance you would pursue PhD.

Would you recommend Swansea University to someone thinking of going to University?

Yes, definitely. If their goal is to become a programmer. Also the subject is very intense.
