Students studying together

Istanbul is Turkey’s most populous city, situated between the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea, North Turkey and is a stone’s throw away from Greece. Istanbul has a temperate oceanic climate which is influenced by a continental climate, with hot and humid summers and cold, wet and occasionally snowy winters. It is home to Istanbul Technical University, the world’s 3rd oldest technical university dedicated to Sciences, making it an excellent choice for Physics students to go on exchange. On campus accommodation is available and the university can advise students of their options. Teaching is available in English, but if you’re interested in learning some Turkish during your time on exchange there are beginner language courses available.
