The University is located in Wurzburg in northern Bavaria an hour and a half from Nuremberg to the south east and Frankfurt to the North West. Winters are cold with temperatures in the minuses summers are generally warm. It is a very student friendly city with a large student population German language courses are available for exchange students. Students are able to live in halls of residences but a place in one of these can’t be guaranteed and students may have to look at private accommodation.
