Université de Savoie is located in Chambéry, a beautiful town in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. Chambéry is the birthplace and historic capital of Savoie, and situated between Geneva, Turin, Lyon and Grenoble, on the borders of Switzerland and Italy, there are plenty of opportunities to explore and benefit from what this beautiful region can offer. There are lots of cultural and sporting events to get involved in, such as theatre, cinema, music, handball, volleyball, skiing…the list is endless. The University’s residence services can help you in your search for accommodation, and students are advised to apply early in order to be guaranteed a room on campus. If not, then the University can assist students in finding alternative accommodation.
It will not be possible to complete a year abroad at this University if you have any assessments, such as supplementary or deferred exams, during the August assessment period at Swansea University.
