The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is located in Fredericton the capital of New Brunswick, not far from Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and the US border. Average temperatures are around 26 Celsius in summer and -16 Celsius in winter, with snow lying from December to April. UNB offers excellent programs with a small university experience to ensure students get the support that they need. With 120+ clubs and societies and residences offering students the chance to take part in intramural sports there is something to keep you busy outside your studies. Students are normally able to access on campus accommodation.
It will not be possible to complete a year abroad at this University if you have any assessments, such as supplementary or deferred exams, during the August assessment period at Swansea University.
