Dania is investigating the predator-prey dynamic between green-algae (e.g. Scenedesmus spp. and Chlorella spp.) and cladocerans (e.g. Daphnia magna). Her project (funded by Swansea University) focusses on studying and modelling inducible defence strategies developed by algae to resist predation by herbivorous zooplankton.
