Written by Stan Addicott, the former Director of Sport and Physical Recreation at the University, the book presents the story the last 100 years of sporting excellence – from our earliest founders to our future greats.

Set against the social and political events of the time and celebrating the achievements of our students and alumni, the book charts the rise of women’s sport, the advent of the professional era, and the development of sport from five University clubs to more than fifty in the present day.
